Critical Illness Insurance
Transition and Transition Evolution

Critical illness insurance, made for you!

Transition - 25 illnesses and Transition - 4 illnesses (+ 5 juvenile illnesses)

Offer your clients a number of coverage options to find the right one for each individual lifestyle. These include permanent coverage at 75 or 100 years of age, a 20 year payment option for T100, and affordable term coverage for 10, 20, or 25 years. Return of premium upon death and flexible return of premium options are also available, so clients have the added security of a liquid asset as early as the fifth year.

Transition – 4 illnesses (+ 5 juvenile illnesses)

This is an affordable option that clients can count on and that’s fast and easy to underwrite. With Transition – 4 illnesses, young families get coverage that fits with their lifestyle, either as term coverage or permanent coverage. The policy covers the four most common critical illnesses: cancer, stroke, heart attack, and coronary artery bypass.

Transition – 4 illnesses has a "Decrease to 50%" option for term coverage (T10, T20, and T25) to help clients cover the cost of their mortgage. The coverage amount gradually decreases during the first few years until it hits 50% and then stays there until the policy expires.

Transition also provides a second medical opinion service through MediGuide, a global leader in the field!

Clients receive a lump sum that they can use without restriction, so they can focus on getting better. Among other things, it can be used to:

  • Replace their or their spouse’s income, so their spouse can take time off work to provide support and care
  • Meet financial obligations such as mortgages
  • Pay for home care or get medical treatment that isn’t covered by public health insurance

Transition critical illness insurance is designed for anyone looking to minimize their financial strain and maintain their quality of life and financial security in the event of a critical illness.

The product is perfectly suited to the diverse needs of the following clientele:

  • Young families
  • Single parents
  • Children
